- Applicants will have to appear for an interview before the management and are required to submit Medical certificate from the family doctor or a recognized medical practitioner about his/her present state of health and two passport size photos.
- Persons who are accepted as residents will have no tenancy or occupancy rights.
- Residents should take special care of their personal belongings like cash, jewellery, etc. Management will not be responsible for any loss or damage of these items.
- Residents are expected to follow the rules and regulations for the benefit and smooth functioning of the Home. Particular care should be taken to observe proper decorum and discreet silence when Mass or other ritual and liturgical services are conducted in the Chapel or elsewhere.
- If the conduct /behaviour of any resident is not up to the set goals of the home, such resident will be asked to leave the Home with one month’ This will be done by the sister in charge in consultation with the local superior and the Regional Superior.
- Nutritious Meals will be provided in the dining hall at fixed times. The choice of vegetable or non vegetable diet should be informed at the time of admission. Special diet will be given under the advice from the doctor only. For those who are bed-ridden food will be served in their rooms for which the charges are fixed by the management.

- Those who cannot or do not want to go to the dining hall, can make special arrangements with the sister-in-charge to have their meals in their rooms. The charges for this service will be taken. The residents, who are not taking the meals or staying outside the home, should inform the Sister in charge in time.
- Boiled water for drinking will be supplied.
- Water should be treated as a precious commodity.
- If the resident requires constant/special attention, he/she should make arrangements to have a full time attendant whose costs will have to be met by the resident. Prior permission of the sister-in-charge should be taken for such arrangements. The cost of their food should be paid to the home as prescribed. The attendants will have to strictly follow the rules and regulations of the home.
- Every resident is responsible to keep his/her living room and her surroundings neat and tidy. The general cleaning of the rooms and toilets will be carried out by the staff as per the time table.
- No change and alteration in the rooms is permitted. In case a resident feels the need for any change, it should be discussed with the sister-in-charge. Her decision is final.
- In normal circumstances a room once allotted to a resident cannot be exchanged. For the adequate reason at the discretion of the Sister in-charge a resident may be asked to shift to another room.
- If residents wishes to change to another room with better facilities he/she will be charged with the additional amount fixed for the new room.
- Requests for repair works in the room should be entered in the complaint book. Any damage caused to the room, furniture, electrical and sanitary fittings and installations should be compensated by the resident, while the management will make arrangements to rectify the constructional defect.
- The Senior citizens are requested to bring the personal belongings like bed linens, pillow covers, easy chair, blankets, mosquito net, etc. They are also allowed to bring a small quantity of furniture according to the availability of space.
- The relatives and friends of the residents are most welcome to visit the Home during the visiting hours. (10.00 am to 12.00 and 3.00pm to 00 pm). They are requested to observe silence during resting time of the residents. They are not allowed to stay overnight in the resident`s room. There is room available for the night stay, for which you are asked to pay according to the pay schedule.
- In time of minor illness the sister nurse will take care of them. In case of serious illness which requires calling of an outside doctor or hospitalization, it is the resident who will meet all the expenses.
- Residents are not allowed to keep pets in the room or premises.
- No tips, presents or other inducements should be given to any of the staff that creates indiscipline. If any resident is interested in giving anything, it may be given to the Sister in-charge for distributing to all the staff on appropriate occasions.
- Arrangements can be made through the sister-in-charge for a laboratory technician for analysis prescribed by the doctor at resident`s expense.
- In rooms fitted with individual electric meters, residents will have to pay for the consumption of electricity.
- The person in charge comes to each room and collects the bed linen and bathing towels to be laundered. Personal clothes of the residents to launder, extra charges will be taken. No residents are allowed to wash their clothes in the bathroom.
